At The Bay Community Church, we are a diverse, multi-generational community dedicated to seeing the Kingdom of God manifest in our midst. Our teachings focus on how to walk out our identity in Christ and become the people God created us to be.
We invite you to join our vibrant community where you can be equipped to follow Jesus with boldness, build lasting friendships, and find your role in God’s Kingdom. Together, we seek to make a difference.
We are committed to guiding people in becoming devoted followers of Jesus. Our mission is to honor God and make His presence known throughout the world. Our core values include:
Family-Centered: We welcome and value every person, embracing each one regardless of their background or circumstances.
Kingdom-Driven: We are dedicated to serving the Kingdom of God and Jesus with unwavering loyalty and commitment.
Mission-Oriented: We are passionate about sharing the Gospel, taking on the responsibility to bring the message of Christ to all people.
Scripture-Grounded: We hold the Word of God as the ultimate truth, a powerful force for transformation in our lives.
Spirit-Led: We believe the Holy Spirit empowers us, marking us as God’s people and guiding our journey of faith.
We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another.
We are in awe of the splendor of Jesus and strive to glorify God through worship that draws us closer to Him. We honor the Holy Spirit by allowing Him to be in control and interrupt us as He chooses.
We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.
We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word.
We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.
We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community.
We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as a church family united in our purpose of bringing God’s Kingdom to earth.
We strive to be a holy people, living in obedience to God’s Word and in surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
We seek to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond.
We believe Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes we were healed and that God is still the healer today. We believe that when we lay hands on the sick they will recover (Mark 16:17-18).
We are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are children of God (1 John 3:1). We are forgiven and redeemed to become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
— 1 Peter 2:9 NIV
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12. We believe the power of God operates through the Holy Spirit in us and that these gifts are active today.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal in power and glory, comprising the Holy Trinity.
